A great weekend!

We had a pretty jam packed weekend. A birthday party on Saturday and on Sunday we heard about a daffodil farm that closed down and had free bulbs. So we spent the rest of the weekend working on the yard and visiting Grandma & Grandpa where they were planting daffodils like mad as well. Next year we will probably have over 200 daffodils and my folks will have about 1,000 around their yard and pond. Should be gorgeous. I of course forgot my camera and missed out on some great shots, but oh well I still have the memories, for a little while at least, lol!

Almost forgot the best part. Sunday evening we took the kids to see Josie's first movie in a theatre. We saw Monsters vs. Aliens and she was just wonderful during the whole thing, we let her hold the popcorn and she thought that was just the coolest thing ever. I didn't know the movie was in 3D so that was a treat for me. It was a really fun movie and I highly recommend taking the kids to see it in the theatre, but OMG go to a matinee. I haven't been to a movie in so long and was shocked that it is $13.25 for an adult, geesh!

Happy Spring Everyone, this weather is wonderful!
Ah, spring has finally arrived in the Pacific Northwest! It actually hit 73 degrees yesterday - and promises several more days of the same. Considering it snowed last week, this is a very welcome change :) It also makes us here at We Think Its Cool start thinking about spring and summer designs. Check out our Hooplas! - eyeglass necklace holders - which aren't just for regular glasses. They work great with sunglasses, too! No more wondering where your sunglasses went, when you head inside and then outside again. Also check out our funky and fun tote bags. Great for the beach, picnic or any sun-inspired adventure you can think of. We look forward to seeing you at We Think Its Cool.com! Happy Spring Days!

New and coming from Shoji Surprise!

Megan here ("Shoji Surprise")-

I've been trying to expand a bit on my repertoire in time for the holidays, and though it's a little difficult to holiday-up Japanese-themed decor, I think I've managed a bit. I've got two new items coming out very soon. One is a small shoji box painted red, to bring a bit of a pop to the running theme; and the other is my interpretation of a window overlooking bamboo in the snow. This is a hanging wall panel designed to look like a window in a traditional Japanese home looking out over a bamboo garden covered in snow. Sounds intriguing, I hope. I'm in the final assembly stages, so it shouldn't be long now. Keep an eye out, and thanks for visiting.
